Seems like a better time to squirt some liquid food on them...is that wrong for some reason?

Not wrong at all! Although alot of people do it during the day I think to witness feeding reactions, and also to train certain corals to stay open in anticipation of feeding to witness their full expansion.

If a coral is willing to eat, then anytimes a good time :) In moderation of course ;)

only problem with feeding meat is that all the fish and shrimp want it also, bad enough infact that they take it from my bubble corals mouth, It really sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feed mine during the day, they are too closed at night to eat. I also make sure my fish are good and full then feed the corals. My maroon even feeds the bubble for me. If yours is opening at night then feed it at night.
