Hi all , just want to check I'm not being daft , after moving house and getting the local shop to rehome my fish , I've now started new tank over last few months and purchased a couple of shark eggs then a couple weeks later a zebra eel that I've just managed to get to feed (taken a couple of weeks of reading to get ideas lol) but I'm considering purchasing a small stingray to Finnish off the tank.

have i gone mad or is this a good combo ? also my tanks only 4ft long at min plan to upgrade as the fish require so size dosnt matter in this case

any input is great full

thanks

I'm not very familiar with predator fish tanks but that seems like a lot of livestock for a 4 foot tank. I know you plan to upgrade as they grow, but life gets in the way sometimes and you may not be able to upgrade when you need to.

Predator fish are messy, they eat a lot and leave a lot of waste food in the water. They all need a lot of water volume and good filtration to be successful.

hi Jay , you could be right , maybe ill hold fire on the sting ray until the sharks have hatched and the assess in a few months time, and new tank will happen as i love a project (already looking at options) but think i prob be moving house at the end of the year so won't want to undertake the relocation of such a big item , but plan to have it set up ready at the other end :) (fall proof)
