...... .....IT IS!
Good morning and a brilliant SUNDAY MORNING TO ALL!

2/3rds of us are now on 'day shift....AGAIN', but Jen's been up all night.....AGAIN. There's definitely a time vortex/anomaly round here.

SORRY for no MEETS last night......I truly feel bad when we can't/don't, only excepted due to the fact FUN has trumped it.

Coffee is going, and breakfast....NOT YET as I think those 'Belly Busters' ain't finished yet stretching the gut.

FREEZING(32F) heading to 50.....THAT paves the way for something PERHAPS 'outside' for consideration.

Hope the sun rises on HOT DARN for All, and you can take advantage of it,
Hack

Mornin Hack & a good day to all who follow. MUCH warmer here, above freezing and headed to mid 40's this afternoon with a wind warning in place. Not much sleep for me last night, got a call from my folks that dad needed to go to the hospital at 11pm. We are figuring he is gonna be OK but the waiting room was packed and it was likely going to be morning before they got to him. Having to work this morning I didn't stay. I called the hospital this morning and they hadn't been seen yet. I have all my ducks in a row here and am ready to leave when I get the call.

Have a great day all.

Good morning Rick.....
OooooooPH! 😕 Backed up ER's make the situation all the worst....and then a work day....WOW!
Hope all the best for your Dad, and all involved.

Coming out of a week's deep freeze round here also, and raises the 'option level' of wanting to do things outside. Shooting when we can feel our fingers is one thought. BUT THEN there's a building list of 'grown up things' to do here.....ain't sure that category fits me at times.😁

Good morning ,

Sorry to hear about your dad Rick, nothing worst than waiting to be seen in the ER. Hope all is going to be okay.
It’s 47 here with the high of 70 today and no rain. The river is high so we don’t need anymore rain .
Didn’t do much yesterday , just kicked back and watched some tv.

Good mawnin’, Rick, Hack, Vinnie, and all of TRT!

Coffee is up, and I have some delicious pumpkin bread ready for you to get your tummies started. Rick, I tried to make pumpkin muffins, but I didn’t have the right kind of muffin pan. But you can cut off a chunk of this pumpkin bread and just pretend it’s a muffin. I think we should have waffles with lots of Canadian maple syrup, eggs over easy, orange, orange sections, and nanners,

Rick, I’m sorry to hear about your dad! That certainly is unsettling at that hour that you were notified. Please keep us up-to-date about him.
Glad to hear that the HVAC at the hotel is in the right mode again.

Hack - with temperatures moderating in your area, you’re bound to find something fun to do outside, and then come inside and have a hot shower! Good thing here in the sleep all night be awake all day pattern. Much better for you when you have to go back to work, whenever that might be.

Vinnie, what did you watch on TV yesterday? What do you have planned for today?

not feeling the best today. Got a head cold, and achy, but no fever. But mild sore throat it might end up sounding like Ernest Tubb by the end of the day.🤣

Remember that crazy statement I made yesterday about how cold the windchill was in Boston yesterday? As it turns out, the only thing that was wrong with it was a location. Mount, Washington observatory observatory, which is in New Hampshire, really did have a windchill of -108!! And, much like the sudden change in temperature that Rick mentioned, that area New Hampshire will rise and temps from between 40° and 50°!
Curious, sort that I am, I wanted to find out the altitude of Mount Washington Observatory and compare it to Mount Mitchell, which is in Western North Carolina.
Mount Washington observatory is 6288 feet, and mount Mitchell is 6,688 feet, and is the highest elevation east of the Mississippi. Every spring Spartanburg has bicycle race called Assault on Mt Mitchell. It is a 102.7 mile ride, and about 800 cyclists from all over the world enter that race.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Morning all,
Rick , hopes and prayers for Dad,🙏

Looks like household type chores today, at least it’s starting out to be .
That, and killing time until I meet ex-foster long dog Rudy’s humans to bring him back to foster life here.
Fingers crossed what issues he incorrectly encountered with a “How the heck can this guy call hisself a dawg trainer “ episode can be quickly and easily undone and faded from his brain .

Parrot room time now,, nice n sunny outside so the 3 here are in good spirits.

Hope everyone has a great day 👍🏼

Good Morning Everyone, up and getting ready to go to work after the dawgs get fed. 37F headed to 44 and rain showers most of the day. Temps not bad but a 6+ mph breeze will take some of the fun out of it.
Rick sorry to hear about your dads troubles with ER( I loath that they have renamed it Emerg Dept here shortened to ED, could make my sentence suspect)
Jeff glad you werent hurt during project, I try not to work on ladders if possible and I insist on a spotter if I do. Gravity still works and I dont bounce like I used to :( Good luck with Rudy, are the psycho dog trainers bring him back or another rescue team handling that? Sounds like really lame owner/trainer.
Cath hope you get to feeling better, I am finally free of the crud that kicked my butt for a couple weeks.
Hack glad the weather over there is easing up, I am sure you will find something to entertain yourselves with.
Wonder how Perrys maiden rib smoker experience went .
Have a great day all

WOW....Y'All been busy!

Any word yet Rick on Dad?

Visited a couple shooting ranges, grocery shopping, and getting my tooshie kicked in chess was all I can claim here.

Got a few Cornish Game Hens going in the oven for dinner.....stuff'n, roasted veggies, long grain and wild rice with mushrooms, and broccoli n cheese....oooooops, corn bread muffins to balance out the meal. Will be one of them glutenous 'Henry the VIII type meals'.

Got a 'weather window' of opportunity to play in the creek most of this up coming week.....'chasing the tides to move the mud', as well as the other Hack will be out fetching a pay check as well with the contractor.

Hope something swell walked with All today,
Hack

Evening all, work was slow and wet but survived it. Temps were within the range described earlier but comfort factor depended on rain or not , wind off snowy mts, and activity level. Took dawgs in and got 80# of dog food, and a few other sundries. Furgee got several packs of "fire hydrant cookies" as a burfday treat. Have not decided on pulled pork hoagies or Brats and kraut, either is good. SAD is getting better with longer day

Fire hydrant cookies for Furgee’s birthday! Perfect gift for her and for you for being a good dad. Wait, that didn’t come out right. You’re not supposed to eat the fire hydrant cookie.🤣
