I just noticed the sea urchin is dropping this tiny brownish/white ball things. There are probably 100 of the ball things on the ground. What would it be? The feces? Eggs?

I have had a Tuxedo Urchin for over a year and it is doing great. The only issue I had with it was when I was battling algae issues. There was some algae on a Zoa colony and he just rode right over top of it. Needless to say they weren't to happy about that.

On the flip side he likes to ride on the turbo snail which is almost worth the price of admission in and of itself :)

Yep, that is a tuxedo. Pretty harmless if you ask me. But like ynot65 pointed out, they can eat your coralline, but that is usually only if no other algae is available.

poo. the urchin uses its teeth to grind away algae that is on the LR. some of the LR comes with it. this is the left over calcium carbonate being excreted. every wonder how some of the sand gets created? ;)

They can be a pain in the butt. They would be like me if you blind folded me and told me to walk around a bunch of fragile stuff. You can glue stuff down epoxy it and they still find a way to knock stuff over. If you dont relize it things get buried in the sand amd die. Haooened to me twice witha brain freeze favia and some orange zoas
