Morning all,
When I checked in once again at 4 am,, I expected someone to start up the morning thread by then/ soon.

Not pots n pans time yet ,but might be time to get em warmed up, heheh.

coffee and b-fast burritos to offer upšŸ‘šŸ¼

Have a few things in mind to fill up the busy part of the day , one being to start removing the stock Merc mufflers and sizing up what I need to order for the new ones. New ones will be a bit less ā€œmuffledā€ but not crazy loud.

the other chore is to disassemble a old wood burning kitchen stove for scrap,,, no interest in anyone wanting it , plus it’s missing a few parts ( a small door and trim piece) that stop it from being 100% complete .

Other than that , groundhawg day here ,, dog n critter related .

Hope everyone has a great onešŸ‘šŸ¼

Good mawnin’, Jeff, and all of TRT!

Thanks for the breakfast fajitas, Jeff, I really like those. I’ll add big muffins that are fresh out of it off oven, nanners, and apples.

I wonder where everyone else is? I can’t remember if had to go to work today.

thanks for your explanation about how your puppies fit into the mix. I hadn’t thought about that being annoying to the older dogs.

I don’t know anything about mufflers. Tyerevwas a time that Dad and a friend of his had classic Corvairs. Dad’s was gray and the mufflers were noisy. I called his car a fart mobile. I don’t think he was amused.šŸ˜‚

Cold winds last night brought in cold air this morning. It is 40° but will climb up to 62 later.

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Top of the morning Jeff.....and it's about time! 😁
Good morning Everyone, and HAPPY SATURDAY TO ALL!

Bright enough to see it's off to a rainy start out there.......supposed to dry up by this afternoon. Remember, 'Weathermen know these things.' :ROFLMAO:

Been roaming the halls for a while Jeff, and saw you were as well, so left the stage empty for you.....but that 'pots n pans' thing had crossed my mind as well.(y)

Coffee is up, and probably breakfast out there this morning. Our BIG EVENT for the day is Squirt's baby shower, which will see Jan, Nate and I swooping into action by 11:00a to facilitate a smooth show.
Men, well at least this one, don't do baby showers.....BUT, with this being Our Daughter's first, darn tootin I'll be there!

Let's go see how many jumped in here behind my slow typing fingers....PEACE,
Hack

Mornin! Coffee is on and hitting the road in a bit to pick up the youngest for the weekend.

We ended up with about 5ā€ of snow. It is 29 now and going all the way up to 33F. I was taught that if you didn’t have anything nice to say then you didn’t say anything at all. Mother Nature and I are not in speaking terms at the moment.

With the season not actually underway yet, and the specialness of today, I had/HAVE no qualms with taking today off to be with our Daughter today. I'll be walking strange halls though....me an baby showers aren't well aquatinted. 😁

Good Morning Everyone, foggy and 34F here but less than 40% chance of precip and hi in low 50s. Maybe I can work magic on septic drain today. Wrist and knee dont like this cold damp trend, but no matter.
Jeff Flowmasters are popular here for a nice mellow tone without being obnoxious. I have friends that run them and they sound good but they dont have that stereo drowning drone to them at hiway speeds

Put one on a couple of 4 cylinders and it sounded good. A pair in the mustang I had sounded so cool, but you couldn't converse going down the freeway. I think Magnaflow went on my Volvo. The exhaust guy brought them all out and slip fit them. Authoritative rumble, and not too loud except hard acceleration. I guess lots of people don't put a 2.5" cat back system on a Volvo turbo wagon though.

Hi, guys!

Hack - I bet you won’t be the only man at that baby shower. Even if you are the only one, you don’t have to turn in your man card after that. It’s your grandchild for heaven sake’s. Go there and have fun! I wanna see some photos!

Perry, woo hoo on doing so well with Uber!

More later. Post some photos around here, everyone. I guess that means me as well.

Oh i am so frustrated, been to plumbing store 15 mi away to get parts to try and flush out the clog. Seems like it is in 4' pipe coming out of the tank, I can run a hose 2+ ft till it stops, but when I run it toward the drain field it seems OK. So I am trying to find a friend with an industrial snake to break it loose. other wise I need to open open up trich and pull out section of pipe and use dynamite or whatever,
I am so frustrated, tomorrow weather is going to get colder and wetter. I was realy hoping I could solve it.
Tired and hungry and really POd, need to make food. Of course I have to go back to work tomorrow but on the bright side I get an xtra hr of daylight ;)

Porter mufflers Perry, they sound good on old school/Flathead engines. Not crazy loud , but a nice specific sound for a ā€˜50 flathead .

......and OF COURSE!

Still not my OR NATE'S cup of tea, but we were there till the last......and then back to their apartment to unload three cars full of loot.

Beings it was at a 'micro' brewery, there was funny sounding beverages.....as well as being catered by a 'pizza truck' that caters evidently to the kinda a folks that drink those kinds of funny sounding beverages.

I had the '800 Pils' sitting in front of me throughout the day. Described to the poor girl what kind of beer i do drink....Miller Lite, so she gave me this. Whelp, it didn't taste like Miller Lite, though I didn't really expect to get THAT lucky. i will say it was way less obnoxious than what I had to drink at the 'Distillery' for the Baby Reveal shindig. That stuff killed the plants when I had to find a place to empty my glass.....GLASSES!
I'm just a simple man with simple tastes.

Looks likw good time, part of adulting, at least they had it at Brewery. Reminds me of when I visited Fish Daddy out in Tenn and Cath and Tom Wyatt drove over to Tenn from Carolina, he hosted lunch at a brew pub there in Sevierville. Tom, Dick and I talked about converting brew vats to Super Skimmers :)

Good evening!

Thanks for all these photos, Hack! Looks like a good time, although heck didn’t look like he was all that interested. Could be his age. But it’s good he was there to help take the stuff out of the cars. That’s a lot of loot! When is squirt due! It looks like any second to me🤣

I'll have to look that up Jeff. I am sort of a VW/Volvo autocross car nut, but I know so little about older American Iron.
