In the higher flow areas in my tank the sand bed has clumped together. I have Carib sea Pink Fiji, fine grain. What would cause the sand to stick together and form "rocks"?
My DKH was 9 a little over a week ago. I need to buy a new test kit. The area that its occurring in is right up front near the front pane where all the flow is concentrated. Its so severe that the sand had hardened so much that the live rock is glued to the sand bed. Like rocks in concrete.
My calcium reactor is 4 times over sized for my tank. I turned up the pH in the reactor to 6.7
