Rock wall build question/ ideas

I'm thinking about building a Rock wall in the back of my tank. I've seen a few done this way and people put corals on them and they look awesome. Anyone have any idea how to build one fake or real? I just have no idea honestly

I've seen people using egg crate to do this which looks great when done properly . When u say rock wall do you mean with artificial rock directly fixed to back wall ?
Yeah something that looks fairly natural like and easily removed

^ have you a link to some of these?

The egg crate sounds doable but not sure if you have a centre brace or how
easily removable you're referring to with coral growth on it, but i could see
cutting out some of the egg crate, zip tying some rock to it and bonding
a stack. Lightweight Pukani or other rock that's light would help.

Careful about drilling rock and using the hole(s) to anchor and add weight to.
Rock can crack and not know it till after the fact when a tumble takes place.
Here is one that the two sides are solid rock walls. The best one was at a fish store in dayton

That looks really great! Might be a rimless tank.
Since the title is about ideas you might like Wills build
but your pic there looks more natural. Check his video out

I think it was epoxy and he painted it, but this guy makes some
really neat things.

When I was talking about cutting some of the egg crate out, I meant for
a cave like appearance, but the wall all one piece of black egg crate.
Still trying to wrap my head around the easily removed bit/criteria.
Some nice tanks in the video. I like the bigger one in the wall better. I'm more of the natural look type of person. The epoxy or foam ones I've seen looks cheap to me. Like it was bought at Walmart lol. I went snorkeling at key west and saw some awesome coral with valleys of rock and more coral
The Aquarium Adventure here in Columbus has a huge tank that has a rock wall on one end that extends over the top and has kind of hanging stalactites. I love the way it looks but can't figure out how they clean it. :p
Haha yeah that would be tough. I want mine to look natural but still practical.
