i am a little confused on what you are trying to accomplish here. the sand sifting gobies will remove the worms and the very small pods that live in the sand. the big pods you see will not be affected by the sand sifting guys. they hide out under the rockwork. this is where the non-sifting gobies get the pods. mandarines, six-lined wrasse.
