I found this wavemaker while looking around at controllers....anyone ever heard of it or does anyone already have it? It looks pretty interesting, has alot of options...at a pretty reasonable price. Are Maxijets the ONLY powerhead that you can use on wavemakers, because I am using 3 SEIOs in my tank currently and don't really think that maxijets would be enough or the right kind of flow in a 180 gallon tank.

Not familer at all with that one. I found a neat option that works perfectly for me and I use SEIO powerheads on it (And have for over a year) without any problems at all.

Oh and did I mention you can get it WITH 4 Maxi0Jet Powerheads for less than just the unit you linked? lol.

Seriously though, I have 2 of these and they have been wonderful even with my SEIO's. I get a little clatter when the SEIOs fire off but it's very little.

That one looks interesting also, but it does not have a way to have a night mode automatically or a feeding mode... hmmm...the price is good though...

True, It has no "Night Mode" switch but having moved to this from a Red Sea Wavemaster Pro that DID have it, I don't miss it a bit. :) The Red Sea Wavemaster Pro caught fire and burned so I can not recommend them anymore.
