Is there a list of all the acronyms that people use on the reef sites?


HOB = Hang on Back
MH = Metal Halid
ect ....

i am such dummy when it comes to these things

ALK Alkalinity, measure of buffering capacity of water
BOD Biological Oxygen Demand
BGA Blue/Green Algea
BTA Bubble Tip Anemone
Ca Calcium
CaCl2 Calcium chloride
CaCO3 Calcium carbonate
Ca(OH)2 Calcium hydroxide
CC Counter current. A type of skimmer.
CC Crushed Coral. A type of substrate, typically in the 1/8"-3/16" size

haha, im an idiot when it comes to these too, so i always ask, its ok its the internet, so i dont care if you guys think im stupid. the one that got me was HTH (hope this helps) PMS (peppermint shrimp) just ask man, its ok.
