i have the little giant 4-MDQ-SC

it has a max head of 24.3ft with max psi of 10 lb and 1 inch inlet and .5 inch outlet

my question is, if i make the outlet a 3/4" or 1" would that affect the max head, given the fact maybe theres more water in the pipe

no. it would help a bit because there would be a little less pipe loss, but the pump itself is not going to suddenly develop more head, unless you can speed it up. there are pump laws for this, and there should be a pump curve available for this pump.

I personally would run the 1 inch outlet, but I have a throttle valve on the outlet, because I can runout my main return pumps.

that being said, why do you need more head? or, do you need more flow?
