"probe start" or "pulse start" ballast for MH

Just wanted to know if one is better that the other. :read:
I know the differences between them, but wanted to know the preference of you guys.
Are the bulbs from one more expensive?? Does one flicker more when starting??

I always have ran probe start.

I was able to get my radium 250w Mogul-Based MH bulb for super cheap because the person who bought it had a "pulse start" and the bulb would flicker constantly.

i have seen very few probe starts in the hobby,,,as far as finding lamps and parts i would say go with PULSE start
