Just now I noticed that the powersweep powerhead is letting out microbubbles with the output someitmes? Why and what do I do?

Sounds like time for a good cleaning. That normally solves it for me.

They make the tank look bad. Im pretty sure the intake is cloged or something needs to be cleaned like scruffy rubicon said.

As the pump spins it tends to seperate air from water, this air sits in the top of the impeller chamber until the bubble gets big enough to get sucked back into the impeller, get chopped up, and blasted into the tank in the form of microbubbles.

You might try to solve this by running the pump upside down, this solved it for my MJ1200's
