power went out 30 minutes right after i left for work this am. i really got myself this time. have been planning for about 2-3 months to check the water level in the batteries. well guess what, nothing like locking the gate after the horse gets out! one of them took almost a gallon. needless to say, my 8 hour ups system was good for 10 minutes, kicked off and even though the power came back on 20 minutes later, it didnt. 
time for a little re-design. also found out that my automatic water filler has been creeping up and i came within 1/4" of a sump flood!
good thing, all creatures are well, only the bubble looks a little stressed but not bad. threw a polyfilter in there just in case.
