Plastic shelving tank safe?

Looking to use one of these shelved on pvc footing. Do you think its reef safe? It's the stackable stand alone ones from any big box store

Mind me asking for what? and how big is your tank?

I'm going to use one shelf only. Drill holes in it for detritus to fall out and flip it upside down and use it to keep live rock off the bottom.
