my favorite!! the 5050 that is well, actually my favorite is my e20n.. but for everyday use, without a doubt the 5050 next would be the 3040 that's what i use at home.

those stars are very purty!!!! and that slug is well....ummm...interesting

an e-20n runs around 1500

Thanks guys! The C-5050 is better than the e20 for one reason - the extra features and the smalled thread (46mm) for lenses and filters- they are cheaper than the bigger ones.

The C-5050 is about $1,000 cheaper as well- I would have bought the E20, but pound for pound, the C5050 is a better camera in my opinon. Olympus techs tend to agree as well

I got my C5050 for $750 when it ame out- I see them on Amazon for about $650.00 these days

I HIGHLY reccomend this camera- I shoot the covers for magazines with this baby- VERY sweet little piece of equipment

The pics I took are with NO filters and NO lenses attached- not even set to Macro-

Just point and shooty baybay!!

Thanks! Yeah, I don't know what kind it is- I LIKE those yellow ones with the read feathery things and the blue and red tentacle dot things- I may have to trade up- I don't really think this is a sea slug- I don't know WHAT it is- probably something evil knowing my luck, but it's happy! yay! lol

I thought the feather things were like used to eat because he would put em out then bring them back in like some kind of shrimp or something- was trippy

The "feather thing" is his only means of survival. This means he is a filter feeding cucumber. He will position himself in a high flow area. He need to be directly fed phyto or other small food particles.

Well I guess he's happy if he's eating I feed phytoplankton and brine shrimp and marine flakes, etc- I'm going to invest in a turkey baster
