Outstanding mate. How old are the eels and what are you feeding them? Very cool use of the pipe as a framework. Do you have a video of how that went together?

The Eels are about 8yrs old I spose now, they eat anything and everything, the 3 white eyed eat pellets and squid, fish, octopus and the big fella eats everything bar pellets lol
If you go through my Youtube videos I think there are a few videos of how I went through the PVC, I have attached one to give you an idea

Added a beautiful Emperor Angel, Blue Ringed Angel, and Copperband this morning, as well as some more coral, looks epic

thanks for the kind words, we like to push the boundaries when it comes to tanks, have another little 9x3x3 on order for our next little project, but this one is and has been one of my favs to date,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

How much of a hazard does putting your arm in the tank for maintenance represent given the bite those guys are capable of?

hey mate, you get to know their personality to a degree, we normally feed him and then do any work inside the tank once thats done, the tank requires minimal to no interference but on the odd occassion when placing corals etc you just have to make sure you know where he is, I have a prodding pole I spose I would call it, and I just gently nugde him away if needed, he will let you pat him eveynow and then, so pretty cool all in all
(I have never been tagged by him either)

Thanks. Yeah I wondered if they became acoustomed to you. I purposely didn’t say tame. Feeding first makes sense. Spectacular animals to watch and yours look to be in excellent condition.

We like to ensure our animals are kept in good condition, and I think it shows so thank you for saying that, its feeding time soon lol

Fed the Eels and fish tonight, got some good footage

little update to the tank today, added 4 Blue Chromis and a pair of Square block Anthius, looks great
