Of all the seahorse tanks over the years , the easiest and probably the healthiest is this one . H. Reidi tank with a few pieces of branch live rock, Bare bottom and a cheap in tank skimmer. It had macro algae. Only had to feed once a day . The pod population what enough to keep them fed. They would hunt for food all day long. had fry all the time. The lighting was power compacts. I haven’t been able to replicate this setup. But I may try with T5
