Found this little guy in my tank last night trying to make a run for the ocean.. :funny:






I cought him and walked him down to the ocean.. hope he has a good life.:banana:

just redid my tank.. me and a friend went out to collected LR on saturday.

Just threw some LR in there to cycle the water.. I have about 55 pounds cooking right now.

Actually I'm allergic to cephlapods and shellfish...

But it sure looks pretty on a plate :)

I'm so glad you released him - they are VERY smart, can figure out how to open glass tank lids and every thing - used to have a larger one at a LFS and they had books and bricks on top of the tank to keep him in! They are fascinating...

Yea, I was playing with a bigger one when we were out getting my LR. had him in a blue bucket... thing couldnt figure out what color to pick..lol we let him go too. :)

the one we were messing with while collecting LR was about 5-6 inches.

and Im not sure, but someone said there is a rumor that the japanese government passed a law about removing LR and coral from the ocean. I'll have to look into it.. but Im glad I have about 70 lds of LR right now. :D
