Hi, everyone! Wow, haven't been on here in a while and A LOT has changed as far as my tanks go (including a 500 mile move!). Most recently, we (my mom and I) acquired a group of fish from someone on craigslist, who wanted to re-home his tank inhabitants. Good thing, too, they wouldn't have lasted through his move.

Anyway! A couple of the fish we got are clowns. I'm not sure, but I think our female is an A. percula and the male an A. Ocellaris.

Can anyone help me out and settle my wondering mind? I'm going to post pics with the thread. Thanks!

I've tried counting their spines, and I think it would be impossible unless they weren't alive... I'm not that curious! :p their black is really thick, which I thought would indicate percula, but they don't have the bright orange eyes.

We have a mated ocellaris pair in our 75. Their lines aren't thick, and the female's eyes are dark orange.

Maybe these guys are just really dark ocellaris... The world may never know!
