I late responding. But with a tank that size of water volume and being cycled it not uncommon for nitrates to be undetected. The biological processes are handing it and even coral take up nitrates. My tank is half that size when considering total water volume and I over stocked it right from the beginning because I used fresh gulf live rock and didn’t have any nitrate reading for a few months . At least not anything the Salifert test kit detected.
, I would just feed the fish a fish more, make them happy and fat. I still-over feed and have12 fish. I wouldn’t be concerned because over time they will more than likely increase.
