I finally get to put my 75 together today! Sooo happy. But now I have no idea what to put into it. All my stuff is coming from my previous tank so i am just going to let it mini cycle.

Its going to be a LPS and SPS tank.
The only fish I know I want is a tang. Either yellow or a pacific blue.
Other than that, i'm looking for 2-4 more fish. Ones that are colorful are prefered.
I'm open to suggestions.

TIA!

gramma's are really pretty imo. how about an angel? might be too risky depending on how much you love your coral.

The girlfriend wants a Flame Angel, but i dont know about getting one. Guess its a 50/50 chance of nipping.
She also wants me to get a black/white clown.

That wrasse is sweet, cost more than my acrylic tank though.

Ditto on the royal gramma: great personality.

6 line wrasse is a cool fish too.

Yellow tang is probably the best tang for a 75.

Lots of cool blennies and gobies to choose from.

Clowns, of course.

I LOVE my six line! My yellow tang is a little spazy. Firefish are pretty. My PJ cardinal is boring. The clowns are a riot! :)

So far on my list is
Yellow Tang
Clownfish
Flame/Coral Beuty Angel
LM Blenny
2- Firefish or similar sized

think this would be overstocked for a 75?

I have no information to back this up, other than my own experience...but when it comes to the pygmy angels...the CB's tend to up your odds at good behavior. (ie. 70/30 instead of 50/50). Currently have a lemon peel that LOVES my zoo's. And as a result...we don't like him very much.

Ditto on the blennie/goby vote. So many to choose from, all are great fish!

Chromis are always an option too. Might be getting some myself here soon.

btw...make sure you add your tang(s) LAST!
