Here is an update on the 75 Gallon Tank I added to my 180 as a sump. http://www.marinelifeweb.com/Tanks/sump.htm
I added a 75 gallon Reef ready as a sump on my 180. The tank gets the water from one of the sumps I already have and is feed from my chiller. Gravity then feeds the water back to the sump. I added Live Rock, Xenia corals, and caulerpa to the sump along with sand. I have a 250watt 6500kk MH on one side and a 18W PC on the other side. I am going to be changing out the PC and go with another 250Watt MH. I have about 250-300 pounds of Live rock in the tank, from Marshall Island, Kaelini tonga, Fiji, and one other that I forget were it was from. The total system is about 300 gallons with about 600 pounds or Live Rock. Sorry for the dirty glass.

-so this is a second sump or is it a refugium, I;m sorry I get confused easily, its nice whatever it is, so this is what i got you have a 180g tank-> goes to a sump->goes to this new 75g sump you added(which gets water frim your chiller)->back to your tank, if this is wrong I'm sorry, I'm not poking fun I really am lost????

-looks good whether it be a refugium or a 2nd? sump

ruhspolostar - it is another refugium/sump. It is mainly for Live Rock filtering and creature growing. You are right 180> two sump/refugiums under the 180> chiller> 75 > one of the sumps under the 180.

MontanaRocknReefer - That is what my wife asked what kind of fish can we put in there.

Dividers in the sand because it started out going to be different but with the placement of the overflow not in the corner I had to add one divider just to get around the overflow. I will be taking new pictures here soon of the tank. I have a few on my site but it has changed since then.
