First the new pics.
The first 3 are of my new rock boring urchin...he's so cool

I would like an ID on this last one. I know what the clove polyps are, but the green stuff with Reddish brown polyps is unknown to me. It's been growing steadily and actually pushing the cloves back!

What do you think?

I'd guess encrusting monti but it is hard to tell.

mmm i dont think so. if it was an encrusting monti i would lean toward montipora confusa. but it doesn't have the pronounced polyps of montiporas. for this reason i think its a porites.

Of the suggestions, it looks the most like porites with bad polyp extension. It's been growing really well. It started from a single polyp and grew to what you see over the past 3 months. I can't believe that it is pushing the cloves back...As a reference it is about as big as the first knuckle on my index finger. As it gets bigger, I'll post some more images.

that lil guy might have some good potential for some color(green /red). I looks nice as it is. I would try to separate it from the cloves with some bone cutters and glue it to a suitable substrate further away from the cloves.
