Hey I would only have been a day off with PLAN A. 😁

OK then....Good morning and HAPPY THURSDAY TO ALL!
("Best guessing here.....someone must have slipped all the caffeine out of my 2 cups of joe?")
Keys seem to be moving around, and the days are messing with me?

OK the, coffee is ready, but be ware.....may have been tampered with.;) Running Nate to the Sams' build, and that could lead to grub?

Going for the 3rd cup to see if that helps,
Lollipops to All,
Hack

Good mawnin’, Hack and all of TRT!

thanks for the coffee, Hack! I was mixed up about what day it was to. I’m glad you confirmed it. This is an unusually slow start to the morning thread. What’s up with that?

since you’re out and about for your breakfast, I’ll get something started here. To go with that coffee. I’ll offer large hot muffins. This time they are made with diced up fresh apples. Maybe Rick could come off duty just to get a muffin. And then we need to have homemade egg McMuffins. And nanners to take with you wherever you’re going, but be careful about those banana peels.

Today I have a Daughters of the American Revolution meeting. The curious thing about this chapter is that not every meeting has something to do with the American Revolution. This is one of those days but I will enjoy it anyway because it’s an interesting topic. The good thing about DAR is that it is a service organization. I did not know that until I joined. DAR has a long history of community involvement and reaching out to people in need. One thing we’ve been doing this year is reaching out to a new facility for homeless female veterans in South Carolina. It’s a travesty that veterans of any kind become homeless. Of course, it’s a shame for anyone to be homeless but it’s especially bad for veterans.
A few years ago a group of city designers in downtown Spartanburg thought it would be a good idea to move the statue of General Daniel Morgan again. (Daniel Morgan was an important general in the southern campaign in the American Revolution. The battle of Cowpens was the turning point in the Revolution, and it was because of the superior leadership of General Daniel Morgan, that surpassed British Lieutenant Colonel Benastre Tarleton. (I don’t know much about military history, but I know about the Battle of Cowpens and it’s importance.) Anyway, that change did not happen in Spartanburg, and it was largely due to the work of local DAR members.
Whew! I really got off topic on that.

Keep it groovy today!

Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

Last day of work in theory, but with Shiela and Erika going up north to see Motely Crew at the Casino, I won't be surprised if one of the night crew flakes.
According to Numrich Arms the extra magazine for my Ruger should be here Saturday in mailbox.. of course it will require function test :)

Almost afternoon here all ,

Back from surgery center and the ablation to my back .So far so good , but too early to give a report on outcome .

Rumor is we are in for a Winter storm tomorrow , starts with rain then a mix, then snow . By the end the Guessers claim 6-8ā€ of the white stuff .
Time will tell,,, it’s the end of the season , odds are with them to get it right šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø for once.

No restrictions post surgery, but might take it easy somewhat

Hope everyone has a great day

Afternoon, all!

ha! It’s OK to call me Cat, Hack. Lots of people do…family and friends.
Sorry to hear that Nate is feeling kind of yucky with his sinuses or whatever. That would make it really difficult to do the kind of work that he does. Plus no one would want to be around him.

Doug, I hope you don’t have to pull a double shift. That’s no fun. Even if you get paid extra is still hard on you.

Jeff, I agree with your decision to take it easy today even if the post ablation instructions don’t say anything about taking it easy. Everyone needs one of those every so often, and you might as well just take up on it. After all, Saturday is the big day to get your new GSD puppy Nash, we are gnashing our teeth in excitement,…at least I am. Hmmmm… maybe we all need to rest up in honor of Nash.

OK, my late lunch is down the hatch. I better get started doing some things around here.

Sunrise Civitan meeting via zoom tonight followed by the weekly hymn sing that’s on Facebook live.

Keep it groovy, everyone!

Evening all,
Doing fine post ablation ,, of course way too early to say it worked or not ,,,

Nash’s breeder posted pics of his littermates when they went to the vet en masse for their last checkup with the breeder.
pic below :

One good thing about the breeder being a hr later than me ( even with being 1 hr and change away) my ā€œarrival/ meet the pups/parents and hopefully a drool tour of the faculty/dawgs , added with my leaving the house time for the drive ,, it’ll be ā€œsoonerā€ than the time we set up to meet.

Hope everyone had a great day

Doug, I hope your night shift goes without incident, and then go home and crash.

Jeff, that little mash is cute as a bug, we can’t wait to see photos of when he’s in your home! And Murphy sure is a cute doggie also! I bet he knows that something is a-foot around there.
