need pump help

i made myself a spray bar for my 30g tank right now its on a rio 800 but its nowhere near enough. looking at other post i saw one with a mag 7 but i didn't see what size tank it was would this be over kill for a 30g. here are the pics.

Good pump info. There is a little chart helps you figure out head. Basically head is pressure over a lenght. So a mag 7 with no elevation to the tank would put out 700GPH if you pump the water up 5 feet it drops to 450gph. Thats head

the tall masts in the back are only 10" the pump will be in tank can any one rcomend a size or paticular pump i'm thinking mag or rio

I think that If you're going to go in tank, you may want to go with a MJ1200 or a smaller mag. I've got a Mag7 and at 0 head, yes that would be overkill and it is a BIG pump. You could always run PVC up and over the back wall and connect into a larger pump there. You may need to throttle it down a bit. Somebody here on the board did this. I'll try to find the link.
