I've noticed something growing in my pipe organ coral and I'm not sure what it is. It's about an inch tall now, is white and has little wispy things coming out the top...sort of like a Sea Apple. It looks like a baby Sea Apple to me but I really don't know.

you could pluck them off if you want.

They are filter feeders and wont hurt anything. Its one of those things that will come and go. if u dont like them u can surely take it out.

agreed, a relatively harmless sponge. You should be able to manually remove it with ease if you don't care for it.

they are pineapple sponges. not sure why they would be there. the lighting should be enough to keep them from growing there. pipe organ coral needs quite a bit of light, how much light do you have it under?
