I've got a confounded lipid test tomorrow AM...no rather later on this AM, and I've had to starve myself for 14 hours. No food or water! Ackkkkk!!!

Back to work and end of my vacation.

Oh well, at least I don't have to travel for the rest of the week and can work out of the home and look at the tank.

I hate the first day back from work as I always have hundreds of emails to go through at work, better get going.

Morning Yall. I set up a 1 gallon pica reef at my office as an experiment about a week ago. I am guessing that the UGF that came with the tank isn't doing too well so I am doing daily water changes. I think I will switch back to a 3 gallon eclipse since it has a power filter option.

mornin everyone.

well i'm off to HD in a bit to pick up the lumber for stevejess's canopy. yes that's right he commisioned ME to build it for him

let's hope i do a better job on someone elses stuff than i do on mine LOL

i went out to jump in my pool yesterday, to cool off, WRONG!! the pool was 110 degrees!!!!!! my pump cut out, and the water was just sitting there heating under the solar cover, with no circulation! and it's only a 12' x 36" pool (for asia and her friends)

i got the cleaner net, and circulated the water some (the water below was a bit cooler) but even afterwards, the water was still 85 degrees

oh well, it felt nice to lay on the raft anyway. i should have put in a venturi pump and pretended i was in a jacuzzi :funny:

anyway, off to HD with me.

Well I was sitting here minding my own business and my wife just emailed me to let me know the Katie Kuric on the Today show just echoed all our sentiments regarding "nemo".

Apparently she seemed disgusted that folks would rush out and buy teenie tanks, toss some clowns in 'em and not gert enough info on husbandry to keep the buggers alive for more than a few days.
Its a little late but at least someone on a national level is speaking out!!!

We are in the midst of Freshman Orientation at IU with Trevor -- 90 degrees and melting! Orientation ends tonight for the three of us.

...the 7 boxes of LR are in the little kiddie pools and there is circulation going, but I did stay up till 3 rearranging the rock so that all of it is under water (heh, THAT was a job!)...
