I've been thinking about fragging him for over a year now. He's actually three seperate pieces that split off of one over the years. I will probably never do it though, it's too big a risk. He's grown from about a 6" diameter skeleton to 8 or 10" in diameter. I guess I'll just let him grow until he won't fit in the tank anymore.
Wow that is great. I have never seen and open brain that big before. I have also never seen one that has three colonies on it. I think most people try to frag thiers after it splits into definate pairs. What are the risks involved in fraging that? Aren't the skeletons just calcium, or are there tissue's reaching down into them? Just curious as that will probably be my only LPS in my new tank.
