I was wondering what I can put in the tank with them both and if I should have coral for the butterfly fish as it stays on the top I don't know if they come off the top at all please can you let me know what else I can put in my tank , I also have a massive boyu tank with a full grown puffa and 3 , chocolate chiclid and 2 catfish in there I eill attach pictures of the tanks if you can advise me what I can do with them both. Thank you , Debbie

Welcome to TRT!!

im not really experienced in fresh water fish and compatibility, maybe Rick will jump in or someone else with more knowledge.
Welcome! I am guessing that is a Pea Puffer? A common tank mate would be a Kuili Loach. Cool fish and usually out of the puffers way. Neon Tetras should also work as they are quick and the puffer won’t be able to catch them. You could also try a small catfish. Cory Dory’s are quick and might work but they are also kinda the same shape as a puffer so might attract attention. I haven’t had a puffer & this is just experience from discussion with a friend who did.

I am not familiar with the upside down at all. I would be researching and watching video on it.
