Damsels are a pain to catch. No chance would mine fall for the food in net trick.

Luckily my Damsel loved to sleep inside a hole in one of my rocks. Way I caught mine was in a pitch dark room hours after lights off. I pulled the whole rock structure out and placed it in a large net, when I slowly drained the rock out he came!

I didn't read the full 3 pages...why you taking the Damsel out anyways? He getting too aggressive?

One damsel is such small miniscule bioload, he is not going to make or break whatever extra fish you plan on adding in replace of him IMO.

I wouldn't worry bout it less he just becomes too aggressive but hey it's your tank.
