mag 18 for water changes. this was my old return pump. using an eheim 1262 now.

Darn, I was hoping it was your water change pump, becuase I want to get a used pump that I can run from the basement, up the stairs to my tank for water changes.

Do you think it can handle that?

I use a Mag 18 for my water changes. I am pumping the water up about 12 feet I would guess. The flow rate isn't that great but it works.

Yes, I need to get my hands on a used Mag 18 so I don't have to carry the water up the stairs.
