Any pump that is 500 gph. I would stick with a mag though they are good pumps. Going cheaper your may end up having issues. They sell for $70. Check your local club or Craigslist for a used one. What skimmer body are you planning on buying. I use a mag 9.5 as my return and it does its job. They do draw a ton of power one of the highest of all the good pumps.
