lots and lots of water movement. The other problem is this pump draws 254W of electricity (heat). The Mag 18 draws 90W and is only 600gph less. I had no room to put this pump anywhere but in the sump (thinking I'd keep the pump cool and quiet also). I didn't anticipate the heat buildup in the tank and I really upset my lps corals with too much flow.

Me Me Me but I have no use for it so I'd better pass on it. It just sounds real neat 2400 gph or 3600 gph. I think if it hadn't sounded so good I probably would have never bought the Mag 24.
