I think it is time I cured my LR again. It does not seem to be doing its job lately, and I think it is full to its max. And Im wondering if it is why I have been having all these problems lately. Hair algae, diatom bloom, dusty layer settling on the rock making it look fuzzy etc.....

What do you think the best route to go is. letting it set in fresh water in the dark swishing it around every so often and changing the water when it starts to smell. Or keeping it in salt water in the dark with high flow circulation and changing the water when it starts to smell. Which way is going to be the fastest. And best way to remove all the stored detritous.

I have had it for 4 years now. And it is full full. Pretty dense fiji rock. Im tired of it looking fuzzy all the time. I don't want to cook all the pieces just the ones without any polyps or anything else attatched to it.
