I have a green daisy coral (large piece) 6 inches across just added a 150 watt halide coral is 10 inches below water line only half the polyps are out is it to close to light. Should I move it down it has good flow and is fed minerals and photoplanktyon.
It's called Alveopora.
Might be a bit close to the light, especially if it's new to the aquarium. I'd put it closer to/on the bottom in a low/moderate flow region; these corals do not prefer to be anywhere near blasted by strong current. Not strong long term survival rates with these guys in captivity. Good luck.
really wow ive had my for 6 months and its doing great. do you mean not lasting in captivity for more then a year i hope not gl with yours mine dont like current but mod light half way from the bottom im use 244 watts t5 lights
