Hi ppl

This is my first post and look forward to meeting some great ppl on here.
I am looking for a 120 or 125 preferably 5ft long glass tank (the 6ft maybe too long) can u recommend a place where i could possibly find one.
I have just found out about The Fish Garden in Newnan, which is cool cos its closer to me than Atlanta:) and cant wait to go up there and take a look around, apparently they have southdown! well i thought my hopes of finding that down here was little or none.

I am a newbie to SW and plan on FOWLR no plans on reef yet!

Thanks

Well a standard 120 is 48" long, a standard 125 is 72" long. I don't know if they are "standard" anymore but a 100 g is 60" long.

If you're going to Eric's store (Fish Garden) he works with the same manufacturer I do, and he can set you up with a 60" tank quite nicely!

Welcome to ARC!

jrotten have you checked out "One Stop Pet Shop" in Phenix city? He can get custom tank sized tanks also. I've gotten a few tanks through them and the tanks have always been very well made and the prices were very reasonable. John is the new owner, Dave (the previous owner) sold it about 2 months ago, he's a nice guy and should be willing to work with you.

I also frequent the Fish Garden as well and Eric is really a great person to deal with. I've gotten quite a few corals from Eric, mostly SPS.

Actually i was in "one stop pet shop" the other day, they didnt seem to have many SW fish in there this time but had a nice 125 although i think the length will be too long for where i want to place my tank!

I really liked the posts i read about The fish garden, do they still have southdown???? wow i have heard sooo much about this stuff and im hoping i can get some of it.
What happened to that place on veterans pkwy? near where the mellow mushroom is now.
Thanks for the replies :)

Aquatics Unlimited... They closed shop, I've heard rumors but don't know the facts.

Yeah sometimes One Stops seletion can be a bit low. But the person they get alot of thier tanks from does good work, he's out of Mississippi.

I don't know if Eric still has southdown or not, personally I don't use it so I really don't look for it. Here's the info for The Fish Garden, give Eric a call.
