OK, I seem to be having an issue with my Loco-Lobo leather coral. It has always done quite well, but now I have started to notice a bad spot at the base of one of his lobes. I looks like it has started to rot. It began as a small hole, but now it has almost cut the lobe away from the main coral. Is this something that happens naturally? Can I go ahead and cut it away and frag it as a seperate coral? Or is this a big problem that means my coral is a gonn'er! Fairly new to reef keeping, and this is my first leather I have ever owned. Other than this growing spot, the polyps seem to be fine. Sorry for the poor quality pix, but I wanted you to at least get an idea as to where the bad spot is.
Thanks

Honestly I'm not sure it looks happy to me but you can always frag it if need be, hopefully a better answer will come soon..
