Hey all i really upgrade my lighting system so i can keep nicer corals...ummm heres the problem ; i dont exactly know how to do this..if anybody knows what hood do i need to purchase that can fit an 8 gallon biocube...also i preferebly wanna use high out put floruscents(cant think of the real name) since MH's would be to much for such a little tank..

Ah yes T5 thats what its called....ummm prolly a fixture..

Not much in T5 will fit over an 8g Biocube. Nanotuners/Nanocustoms offers some upgrade parts that allow you to fit three 18w PC's in your Biocube hood. Here is a link with a pic of the 3 bulb hood.

that's true.. I couldnt find any T5 fixture that would fit an 8gL biocube either.. i think it's best to have a low wattage MH such as this one: http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~idProduct~JB9111.html

The 3 bulb 18w PC's in this case is the best option, IMO

The Viper light is not the best quality and fitting it to the 8 gallon Biocube will be difficult. It won't be able to mount on the rear of the tank and will have to be modified to attach on the stand or some other holder. That much additional heat will also be an issue on an 8 gallons of water.

Agreed...you just don't have many options on an 8g tank.
