has anyone ever tried to switch the leds in a light? i have 3 moon lights that are real pale blue, i was gonna try to swap them for a darker blue, i know that all this is pointless, just what i would like to see. i wonder if they are like lightbulbs, where one just pops out and you can put a different one in or if they are hard wired and such.

Not sure but seems like they would make them easy to replace cause we know nothing last forever. Good question.

Yep, you can swap them out. They will either be soldered in place or be mounted in a clip.

Check out ebay for some cheap leds.

It can be done, but you have to check and see if the LED has a resistor on it. If it does you need to make sure that the LED that you hook up has the same resistance.
