How effective is this Julian's Thing Sprung to feed corals?

How many of you guys uses this thing? What is your thought?

Does this thing need a replacement every now and then i.e. the tips? or is it just like Refractometer, buy once, treat it right and you don't have to ever need to replace anything.

I have one....only used a couple times with some Reef Chilli.....I liked it
I do not have a deep tank, but I have a tall stand and DT is eye level, so getting over the edge with the syringe and being able to look through front pane and see where you are putting it is nice.
No wet hands, no trying to find corals from top.

Hope this helps.

Oh, if you get one, purchase extra tips, you then can cut some of the ends to allow larger food to pass through for feeding certain foods.

I use mine daily and love it ! Get the extra tips as mentioned above for various uses ie,,feeding, blowing off rocks and corals, removing bristle worms when they're crawling around, ect.
Spot feeding is very easy and much more targeted than a turkey baster. There's really nothing to go bad on it as it's just an improvised syringe. It does take a little practice but over all very user friendly.

i see ... thanks for the reply.

the only thing that $h1ts me is that everytime I chuck in a bit of shrimp meat in my pipette and as soon as I dip it down the water, it got lost in the middle of the process.

i hate it as i am anal with water parameter .... being a nano tank , so i hope you understand where i'm coming from.

although not sure myself, whether these corals are meant to get the meaty bits or just the extract.

let's make that a question.

are corals meant to eat the meaty bits or just the juice? this apply to brine , mysis shrimp or whatever you can think of. meat or juice? personally i prefer meat than juice, but dunno about corals.
