What kind of jelly fish are you thinking about? You can keep upside down jellies in much the same way as you would an anemone or coral. They just need a species tank.
Do a search on jelly fish. There was a thread about them recently. I think the consensus was that their short life span and cost of equipment made setting up a tank for them unrealistic.
