Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a Japanese Swallow Angel being reef-safe. I saw a female at the store yesterday and now I want it. Any info would be great.
Thank you,
Eric

do you have the scientific name for it? the whole Genicanthus genus gets called "japanese swallowtail angel". is it mainly yellow? if it is this is the angel i have in my tank. so far it is reef safe.

here is my review of mine.

Thank you Geoff, thats the one. How long have you had her?
i have had her for about 4 months, not to long, but long enough to know her habits. she was really slow to start eating. very shy. eventually she came out and is now a pig. she has an annoying/strange habit of picking at bubbles from the drain from the refugium. it makes a loud pop sound. kinda funny. i like her a lot.
