Coffee has been on since 4a over here time......that happens when I go to bed stupid early.....8p.
As well as my CIBMC there'll be Cherry Frosted Pop Tarts for your crumbly delight to smack your lips on.

As nice'ish weather start which will begin to crumble this afternoon with rain and winds moving in. PLAN A is half day just to keep me honest, but drawing up PLANS for getting out of there early.
According to Mr. 'Changes his mind mid sentence' next week will also be a 'practice back to work' week......weather don't look pretty yet. Shocked huh?

Mornin Skipper. I am getting the same mess up here but likely 6” of snow. I am also having a coffee and some buns. I will take dad to some appointments this morning then mom and I will take him out for fish & chips then ice cream. It is his 83rd birthday.

Morning all.

Spent a few days hiding in a trucker motel quitting all the stuff doctors prescribed. Clean and clear and going to church Sunday. Kids never ever ever try this at home.

Drove Uber the last week and met so many neat people.

Starting my new job with a huge increase in pay Monday. Enough manufacturing gigs. Doing some R and D. Lots of vetting, and I won't be able to discuss work.....ever.

Good Morning All, Perry good to see you again. 37F here hi 41 but rain and 13-20 mph wind. I can hear it howling, even the dogs wont stay out long.
Got a case # from GE, they are trying to get a local repair person to come fix it but I have not heard back yet, Waiting to hear back from Spay lady and firm up Furgees appt, need to get her vaccinations and shots up to date then we can proceed. When she is fixed license is only half, and now they have a 3 yr license option which is a little cheaper.
Other than that if the wind and rain lets up I need to figure out why the drain field is not working
Hope the day treats you all well. Vinny once the oaks start pollen thing I live on Claritin

Vinnie, I don’t blame you one bit for not doing outside chores right now. Your green hair haze is bound to be much worse than it is here, and I think it’s pretty bad for those people to have to work outside right now.
I replied some of your post from yesterday. I have no idea where my DVD player is since I moved. I don’t mind letterbox format when watching a movie. We’ll see how it goes with my 55” TV.

Doug, I’m so glad to hear that least you have a case # for getting here refrigerator repaired. GE needs to do much better than this with their products. It is not acceptable. Hope all goes well with the spay lady with your sweet Furgee.

All kinds of falderal going on where I live. Housekeeping is supposed to clean apartments every two weeks, but for the past number of weeks, we’ve only had one housekeeper, who is new, does a great job. A woman that did housekeeping here for over 30 years, and finally retired last year, came back to help, but is not asking for pay. The new housekeeper, who has done a great job, is now on medical leave. Her work has been so good that the manager said that when she is well, she may have her job back. To compensate the residents for all the confusion about the lack of timely housekeeping, we were all given a $50 gift card from a local bank. In addition to that, if a resident needs housekeeping detail that they’re not able to do on their own, they should call management, and they will pay back from whatever the resident had to pay an independent housekeeper. I hope all of you could understand some of what I said. There is more, but it’s just too complicated to get into right now.🤪🤪

Afternoon all,
Was up early once again but did not want to run into Hack again and muss up extra threads.

The correct washer pedestal showed up today, so that went to the top of the to-do list,, and can check off that new washer/dryer crud that lingered .

Chewy showed up , of course with dawg food , and GSD puppy sized treats/biscuits . Better to offer, err, bribe Nash the GSD pup , and/or Murphy the Great Mountaineese Doodle pup for stuff like encouraging the GMD chucklehead pup to come in the house,,,, it’s like herding cats with him sometimes . 8 wk old Nash the GSD comes a running when I call his week old name and clap my hands,,, ( I blame/credit him being a GSD and plug n play smart, heheh)

Talked to a local couple interested in foster long dog Rudy, the rep and I both filled him in on Rudy’s minor quirks ,, and they are willing to give it a shot.
Being close and it being Rudy 🤔🙄, the rescue is cool with a pre-official meet n greet instead of getting a contract done up and take him home as the norm. They are coming over next week to visit with him and see what clicks or not , and proceed from there.

Called the place I ordered wire wheels and wide whitewall radials for the ‘50 Merc to see if there is a ballpark timeline for the wheels to show from manufacturer. Still no word , ordered em back in Jan. with a guesstimate then of being here around the end of March. The guy today said “🤷🏻‍♂️, could be 5-6 months to get here/to me. Woulda much rather be having the $6K in the bank until they show up , instead of shelling out the $$ and “wait”.
Warmer/car show/cruise nite weather is getting closer,.. would be nice to have new wires n radials instead of the aged but very low miles set of period correct bias tube tires that were on it ….. arrrgh/sigh/ is what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄😵‍💫🤨😤

Been trying to snow here today, 34 degrees just means it’s in the air and not lasting on the ground.

As far as that goes, how do all the doggies respond to Nash? It would be great if Murphy would learn stuff from Nash on how to get treats by coming inside. Heck, Sophie would do that when she was younger. Wrinkle that treat bag and she would come running.

Don’t blame you one bit for having to pay upfront mega bucks for those wire wheels and radial white sidewall tires, and then have wait.

Hoping to hear a report from Hack about his day and what “might” happen tomorrow.

Evening all, Got back from the Fire/Rescue Chili Cookoff, great turn out, good eats and the one I liked best got 1st place so he gets to represent Williams in the Regional competition later this year. Of course when I had to go photograph that the weather got better but I couldnt tend to drain field. Hopefully weather will ease up tomorrow. Forgot to take anything out for dinner so I will prolly have soup dinner then watch streaming, Final episodes of Carnival Row.

The pack here is ok with the new additions, most of the older dudes treat/react to both Murphy and now Nash as annoying barky pups. Forward acting pups disrupting snoozing adult dawgs is what is going on here. They get along fine unless a pup is all “puppy” with them. King the GSD as always is the perfect big brudder and hopefully a good influence for them.

If slightly older pup Murphy was not here, King would have to be Nash’s full time playmate /puppy sparring partner. All that puppy energy is expended with each pup instead of Nash wearing down King full time , haha.
