Sounds like things are maturing nicely! Hopefully the weather will hold as Friday approaches.

I say:(dang koralias)
I would suggest installing a "T" off of our return pump to provide flow to the GFO reactor. Install a ball (or gate) valve to regulate the flow and you will be good.just ordered my GFO reactor![]()
Correct. You can even go a step further by using a gate valve AND a ball valve run in series. This allows you to use the ball valve to shut off the reactor during cleaning/refill without having to "dial in" the flow once you reconnect it. This allows you leave the gate valve set to the desired flow rate that you want going through the reactor.A gate valve is better for small adjustment and a ball is better for all other stuff.
I would still look into using some of the main pumps flow. Reduced electrical consumption and reduces heat.i have a seperate small rio800 im gonna use for it and damper it down
true, i want to get that loop outa my return line but that involves moving the tank to undo the strap that secures it to the stand..i dont want the return out of action or fresh pvc glue if i cut it in place and redo it...the seperate pumps gonna have to do till i move,(ima make up the parts a few days before) and get it the way i want it, well shoulda had it in the first place...dam u hindsight!I would still look into using some of the main pumps flow.
