Hello fellow reefers!:wavey:

I was wanting to add a tube to my collection cup to prevent it from overflowing and so I drilled a hole in it to hold a piece of tubing to siphon off any skimmate. The hole ended up being slightly too big to hold the tube in firmly so it would leak if it was to fill. I superglued the hose in to prevent leaks and was wondering if it is water proof. I know its activated by water to harden.

Yes,Wish you asked before,because I'd say glue a tube instead and slip a hose on to it,that way it's easy to clean the hose.We use crazyglue to attach frags!

Yeah that would have been a much better idea, I can see that its probably going to clog quite often. Duh... Ill see how it goes as it is and if it begins to clog il try fit a tube instead or just make a new hole and seal this one.

I used this superglue because Ive been using it for fragging so it was close by.
