This is the second time that some invisible, non trappable critter or parisite has eaten the feathers off my coco worm. I thought that what ever it was was starved out since could not find it or trap it. But as of last week, the darn thing ate my coco worm's feathers. How quick does it have to be to do that?
Before it ate multitudes of my polyps til all gone, I moved them around and "it" found it about a week later and  ha ha not... they were gone.

We have done everything but remove all the contents of the tank. and you can only guess at my thoughts about that... I am hoping someone out there has some wonderful idea what it is, and maybe another option for removing it forever!!!
thanks for the help

Are you 100% sure that the thing that ate your (zoanthid?) polyps is the same thing that's bothering your coco worm?

also, what other critters do you keep? (some fish will pick at feather dusters, and we've had hermits and shrimp that proved to be coral-munchers.)
