I am wondering if someone out there is thinking about getting rid of a clown fish. I already have one clown fish and he needs a friend. I have a well established nano tank and besides omen (my clown fish) Phil (the jawfish) is the other tank mate. Oh yea my clown is a false perc i think haha I don't know if that makes a difference.
will pay fair price

You will probably want to stick with another false perc if that is what you have. The general rule with clowns is that you can't mix different types of clowns unless you have plenty of room. You will want to find one that is either noticeably larger or smaller than the one you currently have. That way they might pair up without all the battling to determine dominance. The larger one will become the female. Check out Rob's Reef in OP, he got a pretty big shipment of ORA aquacultured clowns in last week.
So, let me get this straight, Omen will turn into a female if I get a smaller false perc??? Crazy haha also do you think I'll have to re arrange the rocks if I buy a smaller false perc? I'm going to attach a picture of my perc so you guys can help me determine what he is exactly.
IMO False Percs are the easiest to get along. I've never seen a quarrell in anybodys tank. I have a tank with 5 false percs in it and they were all thrown in at different times. They all sleep in a giant ball at night. Never seen them have any illwill towards another.
Maroons, Gold Stripe Maroons, and Tomatoes are the hardest IMO.
I have had good luck with these also: Sebae, Black Percs, and Clarkiis.
