The live rock that I got is covered with bristle worms and I mean covered. Is that a good or bad thing?? Will it become a problem? Should I buy a bristle worm trap?? Help please!

Bristle worms are awesome for your reef tank! Great member of the clean up crew! People pay to get these critters! There are a couple of species that can be harmful but for the most part they are ok!
I have all sizes in my reef tank and smile every time I see one!:)

If you don't want 'em I'll take 'em!! You keep the rock and I'll take the worms!

The only bad thing about bristleworms is you gotta be careful about diggin' about in the reef with bare hands! Ouch! I still have Ma'adib, my 12"er. He is totally cool, especially when I feed him shrimp pellets-he just engulfs them like a five year old suckin' down gummybears. I've never had a problem with a bristleworm in my tank yet.....unless you count the swollen fingers from gettin' too friendly with 'em!

Yep, love thy worms.

:D

I've got bunches of them in my seahorse tank at the shop, every now and then I take a rock out, pull a few off and give them to my friends :D
