Good mawnin’, TRT!

wow! Either everybody sleeping in or are they headed out early. I hear an echo in here.🙄

Coffee is on and, so are all kinds of goodies, starting with huge muffins. Egg and cheese biscuits are also out there somebody kindly cooked up some bacon and sausage so you can add that to your egg and cheese biscuit. Yummy hash browns are hot and ready for you to dive in. And a huge bowl of mixed fruit.

I know that the mandate for the Sands project was supposed to be finished by yesterday, but I bet that there’s still stuff to do.

At this point, we need someone to chime in so we know it’s happening with our regular breakfast table folks.

this afternoon, I’m going to a Kentucky Derby party at someone’s apartment.

That’s it for now. Everybody be groovy along the way.

lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone!

I’m here Cath! I have been a good boy and have been getting some chores done around here. It is supposed to be really nice out later & I want to be out in it.

A bunch of painting and some clean up of tools I don’t need up there anymore & the day is all mine.

Have a great day!

Good morning all,

Yesterday was a great day on the lake. The grandkids have a different take on it. Cooper love it , Presley will probably not want to go again for awhile. She was ready to go home after a few hours.
More Rain in forecast for today.
My iPhone 24 had a black screen today , couldn’t do or see anything. Got the laptop out to search know issues . It turns out it a common problem. Found the fix on the internet and it worked.
Have a great day

Good morning, Vinnie! It’s too bad that Presley didn’t have such a good time yesterday in the long haul. I hope she gets over that soon so she can have a good time in the boat.
Yay on getting your iPhone back to working. I wonder what that was all about?
Hey Folks! Yeah, and 'off schedule type day' round here/there....

We'll lead off with the Sams spent their first night in their new forever home last night....GOT THE CO by 9a yesterday! Praise God!
The rest of the day was of course spent with the moving....LOTS OF MOVING! And the prerequisite doing more work, and putting stuff together, and ALL THAT STUFF!

Nate and I eft around 9-10p last night, and Jen opted to spend the first night there with the Kids.....They were sooooooo mentally/physically empty.....Jen took Karter, and marched the Sams off to bed, and said, "STAY!". :ROFLMAO:
I just got home from picking Her up, and working on breakfast before she passes out for a bit.

Nate's ZONKED OUT as well......teenagers. Heck out of the gate, but batteries fade way too fast.
I'll be heading over there before TOO LONG and roll my sleeves back up.....Mr. Sam's Parents are coming down today from North Jersey, and their relationship teeters on .........antagonistic at best. 'They mean well.....I'm sure', BUT always turns into conflict. And the Sams could sure use a break from conflict for a while now as they try and settle down and in.

This is 'morning' huh.....really could have fooled me.....feels mid day, and like I/W've been in the trenches for hours.
Hey, MORE coffee is fresh.....Grooviness,
Hack

Vinnie that's soooooo COOL Y'All got out on the lake yesterday! (y)
And seeing that video of Cooper at the helm sent me down the 'rabbit hole', trying to find my pictures of Nate at that age out of Work Dog with Us.....and of course I can't!:mad:

A 'Derby party'.....ain't been to one of them things in...........NEVER! :ROFLMAO: Enjoy Cath.

Rick, yeah, get that there 'adult stuff' out of the way FAST, and channel your inner kid! Peace Brother!

Was ubering. Couldn't get home. Some kid stole a car and took out a trailer and a UPS truck. Then he tried to outrun the Po Po on foot. Michele said our new stray Heidi was excited, but this is worthy of a lot of barking. I am waiting on my new front bumper to be delivered. Just my luck it is on the wrecked truck.

Otherwise sunny and going to replace the passenger side mirror that got broken in a parking lot somehow. Bunch more after that. Enjoy your day.

Late morning Gang, Great News on moving in Hack :) Vinny, looks like Cooper had fun , when he gets a little bigger I can teach him how to row a raft `
Furgee managed to slip off her new bandage so I need to redo it. When they do it its almost like a booty and she manages to slip it off. I do it a little different so that doesn't happen.
Bummer on the truck crash Perry, to bad you didn't know bumper was on it as you passed it.
Hope the day treats you all well

Glad to hear the great news on getting the certification of occupancy . Here in Louisiana you can have utilities turned on without one.
Raining really heavy today, boats not covered. Yesterday we didn’t cover because it rained and I didn’t want to have it get moldy . Rain in for the next week. Need to cover at some point

.....Well Vinnie.....technically it is 'covered'.....IN RAIN! :ROFLMAO: Ya I know, but I am English.....well was before my tribe was asked to leave.:sneaky:

Grabbing a quick bite before diving back in.....just working on turning it into a 'home' at this point.
2-types of People....well actually a whole bunch of types, but for now hang with me here.
1 type's skill sets involve 'physical' labor/abilities, and a 'just get it done whatever it takes' mind set
1 type's skill sets involved 'organizational'/paper transfer, and let's think about this and discuss it, and we develop an PLAN of attack
Don't get me wrong, BOTH are important, and required.....BUT the 2 types don't necessarily work well together....AT ALL!

One of my 1st jobs this morning was to put up a mail box.....you know, a post in the ground with a box on top of it thingy. :sneaky:
Whelp, I am a card carrying member of the first camp.......and His parents were there, BOTH 'professors' at a rather prestigious university up North a piece......well this job didn't quite go as I figured it would/SHOULD.

As of this POST, they are now a proud owner of a 4X4 post sticking out of the ground, just about in their drive way, while they sit inside debating the path forward.

I'm not 'venting/criticizing' merrily pointing out there's 'differences' in people's thought processes. As it stands now, I think I'll be back tomorrow finishing this process.:sneaky: I can just see my Daddy now rolling His eyes....

Let's see how shelves go next? Not really, these will be here in Nate's room, and I'm only 'supervising' .....sorta. 'Supervising' ain't in my bag of tricks.....well unless, 'here, let me show you' is considered 'supervising'?

On my Altima it is the painted whole front end. It cost 500 bucks. Just hope the driver is okay.

Good evening, guys! there are lots of WOW comments/reactions in here this afternoon.

Hack - I see what you mean about the two different kinds of working styles. And how they would not work well together. I think my family pretty much fits into the same category as your family.
By the way, Hack, a derby party in the south is characterized by drinking huge amounts of Louisville bourbon. You may joke about having a mint juleps, but that’s not a joke at many of these parties. Last year we had a Kentucky derby party at our
, and I had my first and last mint julep. It was way too sweet. Blech!
No real betting happened at our party this afternoon, which was at somebody’s apartment. But I will tell you that my chosen horse came in third.

Vinnie, those photos of clouds are scary… especially that last one. If I saw the clouds like that, I would get off the road and hide in a safe place.

Perry - a stolen car is just bound to get in trouble, and cause trouble for other vehicles and human beings.

welp, I’m going to read a little bit and then go to bed. Everybody have a restful and groovy evening.
